| Responsibilities: |
The Client Manager is responsible for the organization and execution of a client’s engagement. Along with setting up and
orienting new clients, the CM also holds responsibility for the overall relationship with the client and for ensuring that
all of their needs are met in an efficient and effective manner.
The CM is required to supervise the work of junior members of the team, including prioritizing the work on hand, delegating to
subordinates and reviewing before returning to clients. The CM should also be prepared to assist with the training and coaching
of junior staff when necessary. |
| Qualifications: |
The right candidate must have a minimum of four years of accounting experience and a strong working knowledge of all the
internal accounting demands of a small business such as A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, invoicing,
payroll, tax remittances and monthly P&L statements. The candidate must have hands-on experience with accounting software,
preferably Quickbooks, as well as Excel.
Excellent customer service skills as well as strength in detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality are necessary for this
role as is flexibility and the ability to prioritize varied and competing demands. Exceptional organizational skills are more
important than supervisory experience.
An accounting designation, such as a CA, CGA or CMA, preferred but not required. |
